Andrew Cresswell

Director of Business Development, Europe
Andrew Cresswell is the Director of Business Development for Europe managing Tymphany’s partnerships with leading CE and Professional audio brands  He has 20 years of audio experience working in consumer acoustic and audio design, sourcing strategy and development. Most recently, he lead Audio Accessory Partnerships at Nokia and Category Head at Microsoft. Andrew holds an Acoustics degree from University of Salford, UK.

Gary Fan

Acoustic Solutions Business Unit Head
Gary Fan joined the Tymphany team in 2010 as Lead Systems Engineer and has continued into such roles as Technical Program Lead, Systems Acoustics Engineering Manager, Huizhou Design Center Director, and Product Generation Group Director of Acoustics Solution Business Unit (ASBU). Prior to joining Tymphany, he spent eight years in research and development in ultrasound medical applications and computational acoustics as well as three years of Software Development experience. Gary received his Bachelor of Science in Applied Physics from the Ocean University of China and Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering Department from Georgia Institute of Technology in the United States. He currently leads as the Head of ASBU at Tymphany.

Daniel Chu

Vice President of Operations
Daniel Chu brings an extensive background in operations to Tymphany's team. His career includes global product development, VP of Operations at Coretronic Corporation, Director and VP of Quality Assurance at Foxconn Group and Simplo Technology, Six Sigma Director, and COO at Uniworld Consulting. With his MBA from Leicester University in the UK and a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the National Cheng-Kung University in Taiwan, Daniel's business and operations background led him to also be an Assistant Professor at the National Taipei University of Technology. He has led as Vice President of Operations at Tymphany since August 2016.  

Jack Pan

Chief Executive Officer
Jack Pan’s career spreads 27 years within Primax and Tymphany. Jack’s electronic engineering background encompasses a breadth of experience, from R&D, Product Marketing, Project Manager, Business Unit Head, and President of System Solutions Business Group. Within his career, Jack successfully led the integration of numerous company mergers, such as with Primax and Tymphany, while maintaining the existing teams in their roles. He is currently on the Primax Board of Directors and leads as CEO of Tymphany since 2016.

Kevin Wren

Global Sourcing Head
Kevin Wren has over 25 years of experience in the Supply Chain Management Field. Prior to working at Tymphany, Kevin worked for large scale Taiwanese companies such as Liteon, Foxconn, and Primax, Tymphany’s parent company. Kevin has a degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Chung Yuan Christian University in Taiwan and now serves as the Global Sourcing Head at Tymphany.

Ampere Pan

Chief Technology Officer
Ampere’s background in business development and the audio industry spans over 48 years. Prior to Tymphany, Ampere's career includes 6 years as system development supervisor in an international telecom company, 6 years as CEO of Princeton Electronics, and 27 years as co-founder and CTO of Primax. While at Primax,  Ampere built the R&D team from the ground up, which now includes 1,000+ engineers, and grew the company’s technology development to include a diverse set of territories.  As CTO, Ampere has successfully been leading Tymphany in factory automation technology and manufacturing abilities with the target to become a high productivity Smart Factory.

Matt Marchese

Senior Director of Sales, Americas
Matt serves as sales director to the Americas, where he specializes in servicing Tymphany’s audio community and several major CE brands within the industry. He has nine years of automotive experience working in “in-vehicle” electronics product planning and sales (Ford/Visteon), and, in more recent years, he was the head of sales at THX for all video/audio certification and licensing. Matt holds a Business Marketing degree from Michigan State University.

Chris von Hellermann

Senior Director of Technology Management
Chris brings over 23 years of experience and leadership to the research, design, development, and manufacturing of our consumer and professional loudspeaker systems. He is currently responsible for technology research, implementation and product roadmap development. Prior to Tymphany, Chris successfully grew a Chinese-based engineering group from 45 people to over 200 people in just five years. The experience leading multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary teams is invaluable to his leadership at Tymphany, where he continues to incorporate leading edge technologies and leverage his background in new product introductions.

Stanley Wu

Head of Systems Business Unit
Stanley brings over 15 years of experience in the consumer electronic industry to Tymphany. As the Head of Systems Business Unit, he helps create a premium loudspeaker experience to home and mobile users while the technology pushes away from physical formats and moves towards cloud and mobility. Prior to joining Tymphany in January 2014, Stanley worked for Primax Electronics for over 12 years, holding different positions from controller and product line head, to business unit head. Before working for Primax, Stanley was a senior financial analyst at Hewlett Packard.

Phil McPhee

Vice President of the European Business Unit Head
Phil has 15 years of experience within the audio industry, having held engineering, marketing, and sales management positions at Harman International. He received two patents while working on electronics packaging and thermal design for professional and consumer audio amplifiers. As an expatriate, he led Harman Professional’s effort to develop a product marketing team in China focused on creating products that best serve the China market. Phil currently leads the global business development and European Business Unit at Tymphany. He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University and an M.B.A. from Indiana University.
