Transducer Engineer

Tymphany is looking for Loudspeaker Transducer engineers that have past design experience. Openings are available at both the intermediate and senior levels. Communication skills in English are desired, with oral and/or written Mandarin skills as well. Relocation to Tymphany's state-of-the-art design and manufacturing complex in China for a period may also be required.

The Transducer Engineer will have experience designing woofers and tweeters to meet target specifications including small signal parameters, power handling, linearity requirements, environmental testing conditions, etc. is important. Experience in loudspeaker component manufacturing and project management is also preferred. The successful candidate will be able to work with the customer and/or the Tymphany Systems Engineer to meet price, performance, and timing targets in a fast paced environment.

Experience with computerized speaker analysis and modeling software, and excellent knowledge of test and measurement systems – e.g., LEAP, MLSSA, LMS, Audio Precision, Sound Check is important. A BS in Physics, BSEE, or BSME or equivalent with 1-5 years of experience in the design, development, prototyping, testing and manufacturing of loudspeaker transducers and systems is required.
