Ed Boyd - CEO of Tymphany

Ed Boyd is majority owner and CEO of Tymphany. Based in Hong Kong, Boyd has 22 years experience in consumer goods, having managed operations for RCA, GE, Thomson and toy maker Mattel along with audio giant Harman International Industries.

Prior to acquiring Tymphany in 2009, Boyd spent nine years at Eastern Asia Technologies, where he was Chief Operating Officer and President of the Premium Loudspeaker division. Boyd holds a Masters of International Management from the American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird) and a dual degree in Business Administration from the University of Portland.

Tom Jacoby - Corporate Development Officer

Tom Jacoby has 30 years of experience in the audio industry. As prior CEO of Tymphany, Jacoby lead the company's transformation from a respected supplier of high end components to the industry’s leading developer and producer of integrated loudspeaker systems.

Prior to joining Tymphany in 2007, Jacoby served as Corporate Development Officer and Vice Chairman of Klipsch Group, Inc., where he was responsible for business development, acquisitions, and strategic planning. Jacoby remains a Director at Klipsch Group Inc. Earlier in his career, Jacoby spent 20 years with Harman International Industries, where he was President and CEO of Harman’s Consumer Group. Jacoby holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Carnegie Mellon University.

Stuart Croxford - Managing Director of Asian Operations

Stuart Croxford is responsible for the Tymphany manufacturing and development facility based in Hui Zhou, China. He has over 25 years of experience in manufacturing with over 10 years spent in the loudspeaker industry. He has hands on manufacturing experience in China for 10 years and has lived there permanently for 5. Prior to Tymphany he was responsible for manufacturing facilities in the bearing, production tooling and signage industries. His extensive experience with quality systems, precision manufacturing and cosmetically demanding products provides a solid background for the production of loudspeakers. Croxford holds a BSc in Manufacturing Engineering from Brunel University (UK) and a MBA from Cranfield University (UK).

Steve Willenborg - Vice President of Sales

Steve Willenborg brings to Tymphany more than 25 years of experience in sales, business development and engineering in the consumer audio electronics and the automotive OEM markets. Previously Willenborg was with Zylux Acoustic Corporation, where he was responsible for driving revenue and bringing more than 25 high-profile consumer brands to the company's customer base. Before Zylux, Willenborg was at Harman International, where he led rapid growth in the multimedia business through key accounts including Dell, Compaq, NEC, IBM and Packard Bell. Willenborg began his career in quality and product engineering at General Motors. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Western Michigan University.

Bill Aichele - Vice President - North American Sales

Bill Aichele has over 30 years of experience in the audio industry. Before joining Tymphany he held executive positions with Audio Components International, Mitek Corporation, Culver Tonegen, US Pioneer and CTS of Paducah, Inc. During his tenure with Mitek, Aichele led the effort to revitalize the Atlas Sound brand name serving as President. Prior to Mitek, he was instrumental in building Culver Tonegen into the dominant ODM loudspeaker supplier of its time. Aichele holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology from Southern Illinois University.

Alex Kroworz - Director of Sales - Europe

Alex has an engineering degree in electronics supplemented by professional sales & marketing training. Alex has nearly 30 years experience in the Consumer Electronics industry in Europe. For more then 14 years Alex was responsible at Onkyo Europe for technical support and all product, sales & marketing training in Germany and around Europe. He also gained valuable experience with Custom Install projects. As Sales Director Europe Alex will serve and develop the European markets for Tymphany.

Jacky Van - Sales Manager - Asia

Jacky Van is responsible for Tymphany sales and distributors in the Asian markets. He has more than 10 years of experience in the audio engineering field, as a transducer and system design engineer. As transducer design engineering manager at Tymphany China, Jacky Van managed an engineering staff of 15 and was responsible for transducer design, technology development and co-development with the Tymphany Danish engineering team. He received a BSEE from Nanchang University, where he studied mechanical and electrical engineering.
